Shiritaki Noodles 3 Ingreient

Shiritaki noodles
Cooked chicken, bite-sized pieces
Pesto (prepared)

Drain, rinse, and microwave the heck out of the Shiritaki noodles, about 10 minutes and they're really nice

Heat pesto in microwave until warmed through

Toss shiritaki, chicken and pesto together and eat!

Pizza Night Dippers

Shredded mozarella or italian mixed cheeses
pepperoni
pizza sauce (buy lowest carb you can find)
Oil of your choice (ok, makes 4th ingredient)

Heat medium skillet (I use my least likely to stick skillet since I don't do nonstick) over medium heat.

Coat lightly with oil. Sprinkle cheese to cover bottom nearly. Top with scattered pepperoni slices. Scatter top with more cheese - should still be a thin layer of cheese.

Keep it over heat - not yet - little longer. Should be without moisture. NOW pick edges loose with spatula and flip over. Slide onto plate after few seconds.

I slice it into strips with a pizza cutter and let cool slightly. Dip strips in sauce. Can add other pizza toppings into sauce if desired. I just serve with a salad on the side.

ARKIEKEL (sp?) I just made this in the middle of going through the list..omg that saved me today! YUM

On the Magic PB cookies...Alton Brown had a show about choco chip cookies and how to make them just like you like them...crispy, or soft or chewy by using eggs differently in each recipe. In one he used 1 whole, another 2 egg whites and 1 yolk etc. I'm sure the recipe is still available. We tried it once when we were on vacation and had 3 different types of PB cookies from one basic mix.

Meat and Veggie One Pan Fry!

This may be posted on here somewhere, but I'm new and don't have time to read all the recipes.

Hamburger patties, (or any meat you want to fry)
1 pkg frozen veggies (I used spinach, but next time I'm gonna try broccoli)
Cheese (any kind that melts well)

Fry meat in frying pan (covered) until 1/2 done, then put frozen veggies on top and cover again. When veggies are done, top meat/veggies with cheese and cover again till cheese is melted. Season to taste.

I made 3 burgers so I could save some for later. The veggies pick up the flavor of the grease from the meat, all that needs cleaning is one pan...quick and tastey meal in a matter of minutes.

Hope this is the right place to post this......

Love all the recipes...but I have a favor to ask....
I am now eating a lot of eggs,I hard boiled a dozen.....took me an hour to peel, with half the whites in the garbage with the shells.
There must be a way to release the shell from the egg.

Try this method by ChickenLady

Don't forget to put the salt in the water, and in order to prevent the whites from coming out if the shells crack when you add the eggs, add a Tbsp or 2 of vinegar to the water before boiling.

ETA: You absolutely must make sure your eggs are room temperature before you start too - Mine still stick to the shells a bit if I skimp on letting them sit out long enough to reach room temperature.

I wait until all the condensation has evaporated off the eggs, then give them a while longer just to make sure they're at room temperature. They shouldn't feel cool to the touch any more. Takes several hours. (I think yesterday they must have sat out about 5 hours before I cooked them)

While I am such a strong advocate for fresh food - let your eggs sit a bit. The older the egg, the easier to peel. Don't try to boil and peel for a couple of weeks until after you bought them if you're having problems.

I am now eating a lot of eggs,I hard boiled a dozen.....took me an hour to peel, with half the whites in the garbage with the shells.

I have a question for whoever posted this recipe

Double-Decker Knox Blox

OK, ok - this recipe has 4 ingredients if you count the water, but well worth it!

3 envelopes Knox geletin
3 pkg Sugar Free Jello
2-1/2 c. boiling water
1 C heavy cream

In large bowl, combine Knox with flavored gelatin. Add boiling water and stir until gelatin in completely dissolved. Stir in cream.

Pour into shallow baking pan, chill until firm. To serve cut into one inch squares. Recommended pan size, 9 x 13 inch.

Could you use the perfect brownie pan, or would the squares in that be too big? Or how about putting them in an ice cube tray?

Just curious, would it really make that much difference? What size do you want your serving to be and go for it.

I didn't know if there was a certain reason that 1" squares was chosen or if the cook just chose that size for their personal servings. I'm going to try this for tomorrow.
