Sounds like a great idea to me. Instead of having to scroll bach through loads of posts to find a recipe. Thanks.

I'll start working on it, as it's going to take a lot of time...I'll keep watching this thread, and if anybody has a problem with it, or wants me to remove their recipe, please post here! I think it'll be easier for everyone, and there are some amazing ideas here. I'll deal with how people will know how to easily find the recipes, later...is the OP still on here??

Stuffed Cabbage (4 ingredients)

1 lg. head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 can Saurkraut

Discard tough green outter leaves from cabbage. With a sharp knife, core cabbage. Fill pot 3/4 full with water, heat to boiling and place cabbage in water. Using two large spoons or forks, gently separate leaves as outter leaves soften and remove 8 large leaves from cabbage and set aside. Trim rib of each reserved cabbage leaf very thin.

Brown ground beef until cooked. Drain Saurkraut and add to browned ground beef. Stir in one can of tomato sauce. On center of each cabbage leaf place about 1/2 cup of ground beef mixture and fold 2 sides of cabbage leaf over meat, overlapping edges. Roll jelly-roll fashion and place seam side down in 12 x 8 baking dish. Pour remaining jar of sauce over cabbage rolls, cover dish with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 11/2 hours or until cabbage is tender, basting often with sauce in dish.

I think it is a terrific idea.. There are so many really good recipes in this thread, but they are very difficult to find, because the thread is so long. Thank you.

Quick parfait/pie filling

This is one of my favorite desserts:
1 pkg sugar free jello
1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups low carb ice cream.

Thoroughly dissolve jello in the boiling water.
Add soft (not melted) low carb ice cream (I mix it in quickly with a potato masher as it sets up quickly.).
As soon as the ice cream is melted and mixed, pour into dessert cups, pie, whatever.

It's good just as is, but you can also pour it over low carb fruit, like strawberries or blueberries.

Any combination is ok, but I particulary like lime jello/mint ice cream (tastes like a grasshopper) and strawberry/strawberry over real strawberries.
Carb count depends on the brand of ice cream and whether or not you use fruit.

http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...o_threadsearch This link will take you to a box to enter your search terms just for this thread. I hope this helps some of you. I know I didn't know about it forever!

That is a lot of work. I just use the "search this thread" button at the top and it will only search this thread for the ingredient you're looking for. I have to look through the results for the recipe I actually want but it works pretty good. It would be nice to have them all together too though.

1/4 cup butter
melt in sautee pay over low heat
stir in 1/4 cup sifted cocoa powder & artificial sweetener (to taste)

Let cool its like ganache.
You can also melt some PB into it.

I know this is more than 3 but still pretty simple for a chocolate fix and I believe there are variation to what I have:

CO Mud/Bark
2 Tbsp chocolate whey protein powder
1 Tbsp CO melted
1 Tbsp SF Davinci syrup, any flavor
2 Tbsp ground flax seed
1 Tbsp ch almonds. Stir and refrig 5 minutes.
Break and eat.

Tonight I made this:

chicken thighs (I used boneless)
I bottle Maple Grove Farms sugar free Dijon salad dressing
2 heaping TBS Trader Joe's Aoili & Garlic Mustard

Place thighs in pans.....blend the other 2 ingredients and pour over the top. Bake uncovered at 350.......Till it looks brown and golden & the sauce has thickened up. Yummm, it was awesome. I made it up.

SugarPop, sounds good. But, I haven't been able to find boneless chicken thighs. I am not too crazy about dark meat anyways so would probably use breasts if I made this.

Costco has boneless thighs. And they're very good too. They're not frozen, they're in the fresh meat section.

Super easy, tasty beef stroganoff

chop your favorite cut of beef into bite size pieces (i've also used chicken)
sautee in butter and chopped onion
add about a half cup of cream of mushroom soup and 2 tablespoons sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Very tasty for the non low carbers served over noodles. But just as good by itself!

Line a pan with foil or parchment, something to prevent sticking to pan. Pour into pan and freeze.

Notes: Additions can be made to this like PB, raspberry flavor, etc... There really is no limit.

Now, this is in the middle of freezing at the moment, so it very well COULD or NOT set up like coconut butter. When I checked and taste tested it, it was more fudgy with a toffee crunch running through it. YUM!

I made the rotisserie chicken yesterday and it was very yummy! I will definately be making this many times!

I also made the egg/sausage muffin things and the reeces cups. The eggs were ok and the pb cups were good. Just to clarify about those, they are supposed to stay frozen right?
