Cheshire: I hate those days, but they happen more often than they should, just makes the days we lose that much more special. Keep at it.

Julie: At least it is all a downward trend for the whole month. Hope to keep the same. But know the stall is close at hand. It always seems to happen around 237 and 225. Hope with the restart after the big 3 day carb binge things will just keep flying off.

Just got back from the gym. 1.5 hours on that damn stair stepper is a long time, but the calories burned according to my polar watch and heart rate monitor is 1065!!!! That has got to show on the scale in the morning. If not in the morning then back for another 1.5 workout tomorrow but shoot for 1165 calories instead. Switching to weights on Monday of next week, and light cardio only on the off days. See if that will bust me through the stalls expected at 237 and 225. Gald to see everyone so active and focused makes this so much easier for me. Thanks again.

Mothergoose: The way you keep going down each day you will make goal for sure. I am rooting for you.

Well it took 3 days to take off the carb fest weight. That is not to shabby. I just hope it keeps falling off and I do not have a stall now that I am back down to the weight before the weekend. Going to hit the gym hard again today and try to keep the momentum going. May also sneak in a round of afternnon golf if possible and then workout.

WTG Kemp (I am slightly jealous though)!

I'm looking into starting a kettlebell class soon, just hoping that they don't require a year-long membership, I'd rather just pay for a month and see how it goes. We have a bowflex, elliptical & treadmill at home but I want something to kick start the toning - we leave again for Mexico in 50 days

PF: 50 days, you will be looking good in 50 days. I do a trainer on occasion just to do something new. I have plans to leave the 1.5 hours 5 times a week cardio and do interval and weight training 5 times a week and cardio as a filler for double workout days and off days. I want to do some fat burning muscle building myself and just plain tone up. Keep me posted on you progress and I will mine.

Too rushed to weigh this morning!
Corned beef and cabbage last night! The perfect LC dinner!
I measured 3oz of pastrami and. .5 oz swiss cheese for lunch.
Omelette for dinner..that's the plan.
I thought it was friday when i woke up!!!

Kemp, if you're gonna weight 137, apparently you're gonna cut yourself in half!!!!! What kind of diet are you on to loose 100 pounds overnight!!!????? When I read that i started laughing out loud at my desk - sort of embarrassed myself.

Just heard about the kettlebell class - they have a special offer for newbies - $19.99 for the 8 classes (yay!) BUT they are full until the end of April (the week before we leave) so I've signed up for the May 27th class and they'll let me know if there is cancellation.

Ha! Ha! Reta! I totally missed that when I read his post. That IS funny. Especially since he gave me crap about being the queen of 189...lol

Lori-Sorry you aren't feeling so hot. It's really going around here too right now. I am taking an insane amount of vitamin C to hope I don't get what my daughter gave the baby who gave the DH. Hope the kiddos don't get it either, but if they do, I'll come bearing ring pops. Congrats on dropping another pound! Yay!

Howdy

Just checking in real quick. I've been lurking some but not spending as much time on the boards for the past week. I was getting extremely frustrated and seeing others losses was only making it worse. Just in the last couple days though, I've finally seen some downward movement on the scale. Hopefully the loss will stay for a bit. My daily macros have been apx 1200 cals, 60-65% fat, 25-30% protein, <10% carbs. Workouts have been Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. 15min cardio, weights (1 circuit 85%), 10min cardio, weights (circuit to failure), & then 10-20min cardio to finish (including cool down). I can tell a difference in my muscle & performance, but no real scale changes or size differences in my clothes yet either. I'm trying to stay focused and postitive that the changes will come with time.

I miss all of you & hanging out in here, but I need to get my head in the right place. I wish you all well!!!

fish with cheese sauce with green salad and mayo

Several coffees with HWC and water

Super busy with work so sorry not posting much but reading every day xxx
