The Confirm strips are $35 for 100, which isn't a huge difference, but yeah, it's almost $20 more!

I've been as low as 185, but not recently! It's 2018 now, one foot in front of the other...

I was hoping the relion prime would be good because the strips are really inexpensive.
There's also no control solution or any way to calibrate it.
I have never checked my Relion against the lab, and if it's high by 22-30 point, that's a good thing for me. Means mine BS is better than I thought. I don't worry a lot about my readings as long as they are not dangerously high. My doctor never even wants to see them. He goes by my A1c, so I do too.

I went online and requested control solution and I use it every time I open a new bottle of strips.

That price difference for the strips could explain the difference in accuracy.

I just finished up one bottle of Free Style Freedom Lite test strips and opened a new one (tested blood with last and then first). There was almost a 20 pt difference! I redid another of the new strips and it was exactly the same as the previous strip (almost 20 points lower than the first had said). The test serum wasted yet another of these strips and was within the range it should have been...this really lowers my faith in the numbers I'm getting.
