is this mashed potato sub?

CAN YOU TELL ME is this the mashed potatoe substitute please?

I did more than roasting because I am not a big fan of cauliflower unless I goober it up a little and make it fattening. I used two frozen bags of cauliflower for this. You will have a lot left over but it warms up fine. If you use only one bag, cut everything in half.

1. Spread the cauliflower out in a 9 x 13 dish and coat all pieces in oil. (I used olive oil)
2. Add seasonings to taste. (I used salt and pepper)
3. Cook on 400 degrees until browning.
4. Take out and begin mashing with a potato masher
5. Mix 1/2 cup cream/2 eggs/1 cup cheese
6. Pour over squashed cauliflower and mix it all up to look like a casserole
7. Put back in the oven until cheese is brown
8. EAT
