If you like wilted lettuce then I highly recommend you try grilled romaine, it's awesome! Don't chop up the leaves, keep it as one long romaine leaf then drizzle it with oil (bacon grease or olive oil are the ones I've tried), sprinkle with seasonings (my favorite is montreal steak seasoning) and throw it on the grill. I leave it on there until the edges are wilted, but the stiff spine of the lettuce leaf is still crunchy. SO TASTY!
