The average 5yr maintainer has shed 33kg or >70lbs but the scale criterion for maintenance is 30lbs. From the National Weight Control Registry:
Recruitment for the Registry is ongoing. If you are at least 18 years of age and have maintained at least a 30 pound weight loss for one year or longer you may be eligible to join our research study.
So, for success stories, much depends on how you define success. Percentage of body weight, time in maintenance?

Maintenance should be a way to thrive, not an endurance sport.
