Thanks for the link p0rtia. We do keep the pantry locked at night, but not the fridge because I also get thirsty during the night and need to get fresh cold liquids. I kind of like tieing a tread to my wrist, but I'm a bit nervous about that.

DW says I walk right into the bedposts, walls, and armoire, so might hurt my wrist if the thread did tear quickly.
