Another unnatural thing we do that I have seen in Paleo writings, is reading electronic devices after dark. The blue light shining in your eyes apparently keeps you awake leading to chronic lack of sufficient sleep. This is totally me. I bought the orange goggles to block the blue light from my eyes. I noticed that I am failing to wear them every night. I will tonight.

Also, watching TV late into the night is the same issue. We apparently should be shutting down about two hours before bedtime. I will do it tonight, I think. I might end up watching the olympics, however.

There has been a lot written about chronic lack of sleep causing weight gain. I recently read that we may be eating up to 1,000 extra calories per day due to lack of sleep. I recognize that I do eat a lot more when I am tired! I need to for energy to counteract the fatigue.
