Tinned fish is my biggest bugbear because I love tinned fish and most of it comes in some un-named oil. I would happily pay for fish in olive oil if only I could get it.
And of course eating out you just have to grin and bear it - it's hard enough getting a low-carb meal without being fussy about the cooking oil! When I eat breakfast out I always have my eggs poached and my bacon and sausages grilled - won't do that at home - and if the mushrooms aren't cooked in butter I forgo them.
