Maggie - it is certainly possible to lose the entire amount via LCHF. If it is realistic is entirely up to you. I have personally found that I do not lose weight with any amount of carbs. The percentage of fat / protein / carbs that works best while keeping your sanity is highly individual. I personally have found that what works best for me is 60 - 75% calories from fat (most days are around 70%), 20 - 30g of carbs with one day a week in the 30 - 40g range and the rest of my calories is protein.

I have found this diet very easy to stick to. If you like to cook, it really is fun cooking with so much cream and butter as part of your diet!
