I plan to be under 50 net carbs for the rest of my life, so I can actually have a life..... that's not to say that there may not be a few days a year where I exceed that, but being diabetic, I don't plan to cheat. But I'm not immune to temptation 100%.... I do plan on staying under 30 net carbs from now until 1/1/14, and then assess from there.

The first half is less technical, the second half is very very technical. I would recommend giving it a shot and reading it nice and slow and going to wikipedia for anything you don't understand, or googling diagrams and stuff, that will help you get through it. Take it slow, if you have to put it down for a week, it is a good thing because your brain will process the information better. It might take a few months to get through it, but you will be so happy that you did

If everything goes as planned, I am staying under 20 net carbs (more like around 15 net every day) until I get close to 220 pounds.
I like the amount of veggies I can eat like this = 4 cups of lettuce, 2 cups of spinach, and 4 cups of raw broccoli florets or Cauliflower florets. I know they are more veggies than a normal Atkins extended induction, but it seems to work.

To me what is key is to control the protein and keep the calories in check (1900-2000 every day).

Of course, Mr. Murphy can show up at any moment and all my plans will got to the garbage....

Who is Mr. Murphy, pray tell? And how do I avoid him?
