I read that and when I did something just clicked way more than any Taubes or anything. I think because you were sure there was no media hype helping anything along. It has really cemented why low carb is the way to go. It really is a goid read.

WOW! I love this! Googled him and read so much interesting info. Would love to get my hands on the actual book. Searching the library resources! Love history and always interested in finding out the how, when, where and why of things

FYI - was able to read this on Pinterest. Only 50 pages and so worth it! Fascinating that in 1863 he was battling the same issues that we are battling today and the answer to those issues is to stop the carbs!
