The Happiness Hypothesis

For people who like reading and want to understand more about life, I can't recommend this book too highly.

The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt, Professor of Psychology at the University of Virginia.

I am just reading the chapter on why some people seem to be transformed so positively by adversity and some seem to be defeated by it. It's utterly brilliant!

I have been bowled over by almost every chapter so far.

I haven't finished it because I stopped reading the library copy and ordered the book, so I could make notes in my own copy as I finish it. This will be one of the books I keep at my side and reread frequently.

I just saw this lady on Nathan Berkus yesterday, it was a taping from earlier this week that I just got around to watching. She wrote a book, called the Happiness Project and her name is Gretchen Rubin. Here's her site: The Happiness Project , I was very intrigued and have been reading her blog for the past 2 days.
