King Corn

I'm not really sure which forum would be best for this topic.

If you want a good idea of the myriad ways corn has been inserted into our lives, watch this movie. It's an independent film, available through Netflix, and with a most interesting website.

I'd strongly urge all of you to watch this film and visit the website.

King Corn

It's thought provoking, infuriating, and entertaining.

I watched this on Sunday. I'm very picky of what I buy now. It has to be natural.

It's definitely worth watching, along with Food, Inc, Fathead and Sweet Misery--all available through netflix.

Yes, I've seen it. I need to watch Food, Inc, Fathead and Sweet Misery next now.

Me, too, Zanjabil.

I've just been to Netflix and added them to my queue.

Sweet Misery probably saved my life. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but let's just say I was diagnosed with the beginning stages of MS before seeing that film. After watching the film, I stopped all aspartame that day and have never looked back. Slurred speech, gone; bad balance, gone; numbness in half of my face, gone; loss of words, gone. If I hadn't stopped, I have no doubts I would be in a terrible place today neurologically. I have the MRI's to prove it.
