![]() The latest commercial for HFCS where the guy is trying to pick the kind of sugar that made him gain weight from a police lineup is one of the most misleading things I've seen. I wonder how many people watching it will wonder WHY the makers of HFCS are spending BIG $$$ to advertise a product that's used as a food additive 99% of the time. There are no bottles of pure HFCS on the grocery store shelves, in other words. Yes, I know light corn syrup sold in the baking aisle is basically HFCS. But no one writes HFCS on their grocery list. A thinking person realizes the commercials promoting HFCS are a clear attempt to stave off the rising tide of opposition to that heinous stuff.
