SOLVED: The Riddle of Illness

Hi All -

For those with thyroid or suspected thyroid problems, or those with elevated blood sugar and cholesterol levels, or those with long-term depression and hormonal imbalances of all kinds, I recommend the following book: SOLVED: The Riddle of Illness, by Stephen E. Langer, MD and James F. Scheer.

Look for it on Amazon. It's a phenomenally comprehensive discussion of thyroid issues, which include far more than we ever imagined. Since the thyroid regulates the immune system, this covers a whole lotta ground, and it's written in a style that the average layperson can comprehend. Not dry reading... interesting stuff. And I'd bet money that you will find yourself in those pages. I did -- more than once.
