Has anyone pre-ordered Barry Grove's new book?

Trick And Treat - how 'healthy eating' is making us ill: Barry Groves

He also has a new blog I found out last night:

Yes, I did. I probably won't get the book, because I have too many already, including Groves's older one, Eat Fat Get Thin, but it was interesting to hear him talking about it.

Thanks for the blog link, I didn't know about that.

I ordered it from Amazon, but not early enough. I won't get my copy until mid-December. I'm going to see if Barnes and Noble has it in stock.

Read Trick or Treat. Wow, so many things covered, not just eating but all related to the low fat fad...

What concerns me is that Barry has done a lot of research and to the layman (me) it seems to make complete sense... But I don't understand why more people don't believe this sort of thing...why, despite the evidence from Barry (and people like the Eades Doctors) who use public and freely available material (just written in a way that we can understand) do the public at large still believe all the bullsh1t about low fat...

I actually find myself watching TV ads and food programmes and being annoyed when they talk about low fat being healthy etc, and just makes me think - why isn't all this more widely known!!

Mag: It's amazing how peeps don't get it, isn't it? Gary Taubes wrote a book called,
Good Calories, Bad Calories. It is a different title in the UK, I believe. He talks about this subject on the benefits of LCing.
