Dana Carpender's New Cookbook

I thought I would share - I just purchased Dana Carpender's new cookbook The Glycemic Load Cookbook, and it is awesome.

I am on the Glycemic Load Diet and this is the perfect companion for it.

Most of the recipes are very low carb. For those of us who eat fruit (Glycemic Load Diet allows fresh fruit - I realize some low carbers like to avoid it) - there are some really nice recipes included like the Apple Pie/Cake.

Dana has done it once again. I think anyone would enjoy this cookbook. For those of us following Dr. Rob's Glycemic Load Diet, it's a Godsend. It summarizes the plan nicely and gives great tips for eating out, etc. Dana wrote this book with Dr. Rob. I'm enjoying it so much, I hope they do another one.

If you are a low carb cookbook junkie like me, I think you'll like it. Just thought I'd share.

Thank you for sharing! I'll check it out on Amazon. I'm looking for great cookbook referrals for clients. Is it a good fresh food natural product book? I don't care for the artificial sweetener recipes nor do I like carbquick, etc. and I find it difficult to locate low carb/natural cookbooks.

Thanks for the review. I'm not a true low-carb cookbook junkie, since I find most of my recipes on the Internet as freebies. But I can never resist one from Dana Carpender. I have everything she's every written, starting with "How I Gave Up My Low-Fat Diet and Lost Forty Pounds!" It inspired me through my early years of getting accustomed to a low-carb way of life, and since then I've bought every one of her cookbooks. Not only are the recipes great, but they're also fun to read. I see it's time to add one more!
