Kevin Trudeau??? Informercial Guy......

Because of this forum, I went and bought Gary Taubes book, but I also bought another. "Naturel Cures "They" Won't Tell You About" by Kevin Trudeau. I've watched his informmercial many a times and broke down and bought it. I'm reading his book first, 4 chapters in and oh my gosh, does this man make a good point!

Curious, if any of you have read any of his books, tried his methods and what you thought. He says you MUST read his book from beginning to end, with no skipping around, but I want to know now!!! I don't get to read much and this is a very thick paperback.

Even if every word in his book is right, I could never trust such a greedy huckster. He is a con artist, and has been in so much legal trouble because of his lies and scams.

I was curious about his book too, and he's very persuasive (guess that's what makes him such a great con artist). But after I looked up info. about him, I am just too disgusted to give him any credibility.

Now, did you wanna know what I really think? LOL.

Sorry to be so forceful in my opinion, but the difference between him and Taubes is like apples and oranges, good and evil, carbs and fats..... lol you get it.

I watched his infomercial and I was lead to believe that there was a magical substance out there that produced his wonderful results....he even said that you can get it anywhere and it is cheap. Well in my neck of the woods-HGT is expensive and Dr prescribed!!!! He is full of it!!
If anyone could actually do all of the fifty million things he says to do, it might work, but it is not practical or possible.
Thank God I did not buy the book. Someone I know did, and she ws more than willing to pass it on to me

WOW, lol.............I'm still on chapter 4, but so far I agree with him. Guess I have to read more, to understand your STRONG arguements. I don't know what this HGT is, but I'm only at the beginning of the book. And I wasn't comparing him to Gary Taubes, just saying I bought Trudeau's books same day.

I read his book and it says a lot of the same stuff you find in other books so I believe portions of what he talks about. Enjoy the book. You will know it when he starts to veer off course because the recommendations are completely ridiculous. I must say that his writing is very passionate and easy to absorb (unlike Taubes). I want someone to make me made about the way things are and he did a great job of that. Taubes just gives you the facts and makes you form your own opinion. Sometimes I just want to be spoon fed.

Also, this guy does have a bad rep and in the past tried halking a lot of worthless junk in the name of health. Also, HGH is human growth hormone.

I remember when he did an informercial with Atkins... saying how he lost so much weight and it was the best diet he ever did... only to say later that it was the worse diet he did and he didn't lose weight... That is when I knew he was a con just in it for the money. He is a scam artist... I am really surprised he isn't in prison.

Yep. Then he said you could eat anything you want only if it's ORGANIC and you would lose the weight. *Rolls eyes*

He has bits and pieces of truths and half truths in his books.

Please be careful if you buy a book from the t.v . like I did . I made it clear no new letter . You guess it they charged me 5 dollars a month for their new letter on my visa card .

Visa would not stop the payments we tried for months getting it off our visa card . Finely the only thing we were told we could do (BY VISA) stop that visa card and get a new one . He may have some good facts but I don't trust the man he is a smart money hungry man .

his books are a scam you read them and he talks about all these wonderful things that will help you lose weight and cure illnesses ect... you have to pay to go to his website to find out the supposed miracle cures!! bogus

I bought his book and I felt scammed. He is just a sales man - he has nothing of substance. I wanted to throw away the book about 5 minutes after I got it in the mail - but I had paid a lot for it! I too bought it through the TV and got stuck with a bunch of extras and extra charges.

One more person trying to make you part with your money to make you think you will get closer to your weight loss dream by just buying their stuff.

That book is a gimmick to get people to his website,which you have to pay to access the "secret cures"..Other than that I think that he has wonderful information in his book.It's mostly about eating organic,low carb,and staying AWAY from processed foods.He also suggests having enema's and seeing "natural" DR"S...
He MAY be a scam artist,but I did learn a lot from his book about Food corporations ,so I would reccomend reading it.

Yeah, I bought one of his books sometime back and what a rip. He didn't tell me anything that others hadn't already said. He is a scam artist. The other day I saw that he was selling something different now. I forget what it was. I turned it off pronto!!

If you go to this site, you can find most of the info that SHOULD have been in Trudeau's book. Or even better...you may already own a bible and can reference the dietary laws.
It's just that Dr Rubin tells you why these foods are best.

Jordan Rubin's new book, Perfect Weight is a good read and I've taken up on some of his advice, such as "Get thee to a personal trainer." Well, I did. I'm not sure about the seasonal cleansing as I'm eating more than enough healthy foods and the whooshie fairy has been very prompt.

Kevin Trudeau is yet another scam artist.

The book can be bought at Amazon for $14.00. The TV infomercial is something like $29 the last time that I saw it.

As I understand it he's getting around this by selling the book instead of making claims about the products he's trying to sell, like coral calcium curing cancer - which is where I believe the ban came from.

He knows his way around the law -- total con artist.
