Spicy Orange Sauce for Chicken

nomnompaleo hat tip. Google nomnompaleo Orange Sriracha Chicken for the original recipe I worked off of :)

She has a wonderful orange chicken recipe, but it uses orange juice and honey, so I played with the basic recipe and tweaked it to make it a little more "any diet" friendly.
It does have oranges, so probably not low-carb enough, but you only need a small amount as your glaze or sauce.

I am also thinking more vinegar and some evoo would make 1-2T of this into a nice salad dressing :)

Spicy Orange Sauce for Chicken
2 clementine oranges or 1 medium orange, peeled
1/2 cup water
1T vinegar
1T fish sauce (I use red boat)
1T coconut aminos or gluten free tamari
stevia to taste
1-2T srirracha sauce (rooster sauce, I bought thai kitchen brand because it has the fewest additives)

Toss orange and the water into a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.
Add everything else to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Cook for 4-5 minutes until it thickens slightly and has a glazy look.

This makes about 2/3 cup finished sauce that would be a nice glaze for chicken or fish, or whatever.
