This is thread is getting a bump because I tried this pizza crust for New Year's Eve and I wanted to tell Nancyelle how much everyone enjoyed it, even the non-LCers!
It was so good that I'll be making it again for the Super Bowl!!! Maria |

It's easily the best LC crust I've tried. We love it too. In fact I think we'll have the smoked salmon version tonight!

Well we finally had this tonight and it was awesome. My husband loved it and ate pretty much the whole thing!
Just a hint for people looking for a great pizza/pasta sauce, I used Eden Organic Pizza and Pasta Sauce. The ingredients are: Roma Tomatoes, EVOO, Sea salt, basil, oregano, black pepper, roasted garlic, onion and thyme...ALL ORGANIC. It is delicious and the carb count is 4 carbs, 2 fiber per 1/4 cup. |

I'm SO ready for Super Bowl cooking! Everything homemade. Making chicken wings with blue cheese dip, nacho casserole, spinach artichoke dip, homemade crackers (and maybe a flat bread), veggie/meat tray, and
PIZZA! <nom, nom, nom> I'm going to double this in a large rectangular pan and cut into squares this time I think. I've always just used tomato sauce with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning, but I'll have to look for a good low carb pizza sauce. What are ya'lls favorite toppings? I normally just stick with traditional pepperoni, muchrooms, black olives; or I like just spinach and mushroom.

I made this last night and it was awesome!! I did a personal one and used the silicone cake pan. My 7 year old said it was the best pizza he ever had.
The only thing was it wasn't crispy at all. It didn't fall apart but it was floppy. Do you think I didn't cook it long enough? I was thinking about adding a little bit of coconut flour next time and see if that makes in crispier. I will have this once a week or so! Thanks for posting this! Michelle |

Let us know how your tweak goes.....
I find the personal pan I came up with perfect for myself. I don't like it so crispy. This worked out for me. I also cook it all in one go so it is finished and done. works for me. I got my inspiration from this original post. It is only me to worry about, my DH eats the 'other' way. ![]() YMMV........... |

I made this today and it was heaven! I topped it with fresh basil, chopped tomatoes and mozzarella - my favorite Margherita pizza - it was delicious! Does anyone have a count - carbs, fat, calories - so I can enter it into ******? Thanks!

awesome
I had a smaller pizza pan, so the cooking time varied...I'll just tweak it to fit my pan. Looking forward to a Michelob ultra and a couple of slices of this pizza and my Mets...lol. Seriously, I was pleasantly surprised ![]() |
