Shy, "broil" in the U.S. is the same as "grill" in the UK. Just set your grill to the highest setting and wait a couple minutes for the cheese to get bubbly.

I mean instead of microwaving the cauliflower before ricing it you could bake it and then rice it. Makes it less watery.

Want to know what's even better? One sixth of the entire lasagne is only 222 calories, and 5 carbs.
If anyone wants the recipe, I'll post it! |

Cleo, Cleo. Cleo!
I bow to your kitchen wisdom!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Question: Can one buy RAW cauliflower and shred it RAW and use it, or must it be cooked to work well? Doe sit stick altogether better when lightly cooked vs raw? I cannot WAIT to try this, but I'm outta cauliflower! <"Gotta get cauliflower" she mumbles as she backs away from the computer screen> |

I'm putting the recipe together now, and will be testing it one last time. The recipe will be posted today for sure.
Thanks so much for your interest! I had a piece this morning for breakfast and OMG! I ate about 1/8 of the thing (1/6 was too filling!) To think I had only 166 calories and only 4 carbs?! Um..... I think this is going to revolutionize lasagne... and you can't taste the cauliflower AT ALL. I am jazzed about this! It is really scrumptious. |

Mountain-- the cauliflower has to be cooked, because it'd be too solid to use raw. I had to hit two stores yesterday to find enough frozen cauliflower to play with. LOL! It can be a real pain.
Pretty Paula-- In ounces? Let me weigh the stuff today, ok? I am going to make a second lasagne for a test, and will take those measurements. Do you need grams, or will ounces be ok? |

Well. . .COOL! Cause I accidently ordered too much dehydrated cauliflower last time I ordered some cans and I've been wondering what the *ell! to do with it all, besides eat it as popcorn as I usually do. I think processing the dried stuff into rice size before I cook it will be a snap. I'll let you know how mine turns out when I'm back in my own kitchen in a week or so. -Retro |

Hmmm. I'm wondering if this can be lower cal with reduced fat or fat free cream cheese used instead of the regular cheese in the crust. (That way I could use more cheese on top!) Might not crisp up properly, huh?

I am having so much fun with eating less carbs, Cleo! OMG, If you want to try something delicious, you are in for a real treat---this pizza is awesome. It was so easy and quick to make for lunch. My pic isn't as pretty as yours, Cleo, but it was good all the same. As you can see my dog was eyeing it up hoping for some pieces to fall!
I can't wait to try your lasagna next!!! ![]() |

Just wanted to let you guys know I did use fresh cauliflower last night to make the pizza, I riced it fresh, then put the riced cauliflower in a bowl, with no water and put it in the mirowave for about 5 mins, then made my crust, it was awesome!!! I shared the recipe with all my coworkers today and everyone is dying to try it now. I need to figure out where the breadsticks and lasagna recipe are now !!
