Cleochatra, I came upon this recipe this evening and just finished a slice of your pizza. OMG, I can't believe it! I have made a lot of pizzas from scratch over the years, and this was some of the best pizza I've ever made. You are a genius!
I used the recipe you have on the first pg. of this thread, only I used 12 oz. of cauliflower since that's what was in the bag. I also added some sea salt and a couple tablespoons of Parmesan, based on someone else's post I read. I baked the crust ahead of time almost 20 min. All I put on it was sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. When the rest of the family gets in, it will be gone in seconds! Thank you for such an amazing recipe. I can have pizza on our pizza nights! Edited to add: Next time I will make it a little bit thicker. It was spread pretty thin on my 16" pizza stone. Still, once it had time to set up from the oven, it did fine. sophie-- Hey there! You are sweet for saying that. I am so glad you had terrific results! I really love pizza, so having that option for family and to take places really made this a lifestyle for me. I also add the Parm when the cauliflower is too moist and is driving me nuts. It really absorbs the moisture.

This recipe is fantastic! I has gastric bypass 4 wks ago and was just cleared to start eating things other than protein earlier today so this was the first real "meal" i've had and this was so good even my 4 year old picky eater loved this, matter of fact he didn't even notice the difference. Thank you so much for this because I thought my pizza days were over.

This pizza sounds soooo delicious!!!!!! Is this pizza considered safe for induction?
I am so sorry if this question was already asked; but this thread is so large that it would have taken me forever to go through all of it to find that question and answer. Thanks so much! |

yummy
This is my favorite way to eat pizza now. i top mine with cream of spinach, grilled or roasted chicken, crumbled bacon and mozzarella cheese. I have also used this crust to make a breakfast pizza to with bacon eggs and cheese.

The pizza is definitely safe for induction. You just want to make sure to keep to your 4 ounces of cheese as your daily limit.

I usually have to hide food to photograph it. It's better to eat it than find it later in your dresser. :^o

I maeded the bread sticks for lunch snacks for myself for the rest of the week.
My husband hates every cauliflower item in the universes and he just swears he can taste the cauliflower no matter what. Whatever! I put them under the broiler for a little bit on each side to try to get the surfaces nice 'n' crispy. Un-Cheesed ![]() Cheesed ![]() |

I made this pizza earlier this week and am making it again tomorrow for my mother. I've been low carbing for about 8 months and the one food I've really missed has been pizza. It tasted so good I lost all sense of proportion and ate the whole thing. While I won't do that again, I will be making this frequently! I'm also going to try the breadsticks.

Cauli crust can do this, too. Shown to me by a fellow blogger hottie. Just use a spingform pan to bring the deep dish pan magic.
Pan pizza is so easy. Just use a springform pan to bring the magic. ![]() A 10" pizza ![]() Look at that texture. I mean seriously: ![]() |

That makes me very happy. And the deep dish solution is so amazingly terrific. I love the blogger who turned me onto this idea.

I am so excited to try this pizza, I need to go produce shopping, tomorrow.
Any way, congratulations! ![]() I own a rest/pizzeria, and I am in the front next to the pizza all day( drives me crazy , sometimes) but I will be making this. I tried the low carb fried rice using cauliflower and it was great went over big with my non LC hubby. In fact I also made someone's recipe for cauli cheese soup also big hit. If this works out I'm in heaven, cause I can eat pizza everyday three times a day if aloud ![]() Thank you for all you LC friends for all the great recipes. Does any one have a good sauce recipe, had one and can't find it. ![]() |
