Hi,
Sorry you haven't had any answers--and I can't answer 2 because I've never heard of it. But, in regards to 1, I don't think it matters insulin-wise. I'd love to eat organic but can't afford. And to be honest, I can't say all those claims are true anyway. But just to let you know, my family members are cattle farmers. My brother will show you a list of approximately 300 'things' they vaccinate the cattle with. I guess if you don't want that kind of junk in your system, you're better off with organic. But I eat normal supermarket stuff and I'm doing just fine.

Hi lucky4,
From PPLP, grass fed vs Grain fed: Omega6 (inflammatory) goes up with a grain diet, wild caught vs farmed fish have the same problem. As I remember, We aim for a 2:1 Omega 6 to Omega ratio, and typical American diet has maybe fifty times. Grass fed is about 1:1. Hope this helps, Carolyn |
