Protein Bars "Good or Evil"?
I've been a low carb fan for many years, and in that time I've heard a lot of talk about protein bars, some good and and some of it bad. The one thing that does stands out is that everyone has a different opinion about them.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Is there a really good protein bar out there for low carb people? |

What do you mean "good"? I would say there are some that are ok as a real emergency ration. I keep a couple in my glove compartment because there may be times you can't get to a good low carb meal when you need one. I don't think any of them is "good" if you eat them regularly.

I've recently started eating Quest protein bars and they're quite good. I actually found out about them from reading a couple threads on this board. They have very few net carbs and dont use any sugars in their bars, plus they taste pretty good too!
