Protein Power/Protein Power Lifeplan

Hi, I have lost approx. 18.4 lbs on Protein Power Lifeplan over the last year, have 21lbs to go to reach my first goal. I have started and stopped several times since 2005, but want to finally "lose" it in 2008.

I need to find a buddy or buddies to join in with me for accountablity, sharing recipes, to check in with daily, etc.

Having a team always seems to help me stay better on track.

Anyone like to join me?

Claudette, Hi, it's me Peachy. I'd love to be buddies. I've lost 19.5 pounds (that 1/2 pound is kickin' my arse) and have about 30 left to go. My first goal is 13 pounds away. That will probably take me about 13 weeks. Have you set any time goals?

Peachy,
Hi! So glad to hear from you. Congratulations on the 19.5 lbs. lost.

I haven't set a date, wonderfully, I'd like to have it lost by my Oct birthday.

Also, I am not sure if our grown only son isn't going to "pop" the question to his girlfriend soon and I would like to look great as the Mother of the groom.

It is not so easy losing again after starting and stopping so many times. I wish I had "stayed" the course, but of course, hind site is always better.

Never the less, I am hanging in there, exercising and hoping to lose the rest as soon as possible.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Boy, did I not stick with the plan this weekend. It wasn't a free for all, but I wasn't exactly perfect. I always seem to have this problem around my TOM. I can be good for most of the day, but it doesn't take much to talk me into eating. Usually I can say no, but not this weekend.

I'm sure you'll make a beautiful mother of the groom. What about his girl? Do you like her? Do they live nearby?

This weekend wasn't so great for me either.

I'm past the TOM days, but I remember feeling like I could "eat the house" down during that time.

I am still prone to emotional eating and last night after getting upset, I really did go banannas. I was up 3 lbs this am, carb bloat.
Grown kids that are still immature are the pitts.

We don't really know his girl friend, they used to live nearby, but now live in another state. We'd always hoped since we only have one, he would live locally. Oh, well.

Thanks for the compliment.

I am back on track today.
This is the year I am going to look great and meet my goal.

I'm back on track too. Let's keep it that way.

I totally agree that this is the year! We'll look great in 2008!

What happened to set you off? Children can really bring you joy.But boy can they piss you off.

My problem this weekend was peer pressure. I really have a hard time saying no to my girlfriend. She is overweight and I think she wants me to eat with her so that she doesn't feel guilty. It really drives her nuts when we are together and I don't eat whatever I want and stay on plan. I just have to realize that she is sabotaging me and strengthen my resolve.
During the week I seem to have no trouble. Last night we had KFC and I stayed far away from the biscuits and the mashed potatoes. I know I can do this if I really commit to it.

Hi Ladies,

You are both doing so well. I was just re-reading my Protein Power book, so thought I would stop into this section of LC friends.

Sending encouragement for an on-plan weekend for us all!

Peace
