There are different levels of Protein Power. So what you eat is up to your decision. The truth is, if you look at the protein grams in processed foods, they aren't as protein-packed for the calories. I still check calories and I would eat them every once in a while -- but not as a staple. Just not great nutrition.

Alot of these products as well as lunch meats have nitrates in them. BAD!! Look for nitrate free products. They are not the best nutrition as said, but allowed.
Trader Joes has nitrate free products. |
