I'm not on it, but I love PP, love the Eades and this was the first LC plan I ever tried. It worked great when I was in my 20s. My sugar cravings have been HORRID since having gestational diabetes with my second pregnancy. I need tighter control on the carbs these days to keep me from binge eating. Good luck!

It is an interesting read and is a part of my plan. I don't follow anything specific to the letter. I take what I consider to be the best and healthiest concepts from all these different plans and have incorporated it all into my lifestyle.

Yes, I'm on Protein Power. Started in '98 and stayed on for about 18 months. Then went to live at a convent in England where I had no choice over food -- gained back most of what I'd lost. Got back on PP in June of '05. Overall cholestrol dropped 59 pts, LDL dropped 26 and blood sugar is nearing normal levels -- all in 6 months. Oh, yes, also 25 lbs. lost. I've stalled the past couple of months weightwise, but that's my problem, not the plan's since I am not exercising much these days.

If you are interested, there's a small but vibrant forum several of us PPers are on until Dr. Eades gets the official site up and working again (it was hacked several months ago). The URL is: http://ppwol.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi I hope it's OK to publish this site as they don't sell any products. Dr. Mike also has a good blog, but I can't remember the URL. Perhaps a search will bring it up.
