My goal for November:
1. Lose 10 lbs (down to 142).
2. Stay focused on weight goal no matter what(no holiday is going to get in my way)
3. Exercise 10 min before every meal
4. Stay positive when waiting for a whoosh!
5. Look forward to December Hawaii trip.

I would just like to lose weight in November! I quickly lost 10 lbs the first two weeks in October, then proceeded to lose and gain the next 2 pounds over and over again. Ideally, I'd like to make it to 265, but I don't think that's gonna happen! :/

Oh and today was my first aspartame-free day. So I hope to stay away from it all during November and NEVER look back.

I want to walk more frequently. A half hour 4 times a week is my plan.
I also want to drink more water.

And, following thanksgiving I'm going on a 5-day vacation to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. That will take some planning! But I hoping all the great stuff allowed on low-carb eating will make it fun and not too destructive.

The thing about low carb that I just adore is that with the loss of hunger pangs and cravings, I imagine this is how a thin person feels. Not "Omigod, I have some of that chocolate cake", but more "Not so hungry, I can pass that."

I never could get into the self-torturing of many diet plans. I thought something was not right about starving. I feel so lucky to tried this wol. And even though I don't post much, I have found this board very helpful. Thanks everyone.

Check in weekly to keep up accountability (or have people kick my tail for not getting there)

Quit with that, until I get that accomplished.
I need to check in somewhere on regular basis. I am finding that out. I have reduced my goal to weekly basis, instead of monthly--2lbs per week. That seems to be helping me out alot. Also, checking in here daily to chat with someone (anyone) is a major help.

I have not been monitoring the work hours. The food and drink are pretty stable now, so work on the other 2 goals for the rest of the month.

Hope everyone's Nov is going on track. Anyone else want to check back in on Nov goals?

O my!

I am on lowcarb again! For like the millionth time! So today is day five.

1.) If I can just stay on plan that will be a huge accomplishment.
2.) Loose 15lbs.
3.) Eat more whole foods.
4.) Eat my veggies
5.) Drink my 64oz of water a day

I just want to prove all the people wrong that are rolling their eyes at me and saying. Oh no! Not again! Doesn't she know this isn't going to work? Not one of them has really said this to me but I can tell by their looks that this is what they are thinking. I also want to prove all of them wrong that are telling me how unhealthy my lifestyle is. I want to do this so bad. I just want to be healthier for my kiddo. So that I can run and chase my lil 3 year old around the house. She loves that! I am at 250 again! Last time I lost 10lbs in five days and now I have gained it all back. I haven't weighed since I started this woe this time. I am going to wait about a week before I do that and try not to be to obsessive with the scale this time!

Realistic or Unrealistic????

These were my original goals for November but I have already lost 12lbs in nine days. So I guess I will up my goal to another 10lbs. Which will be a total of 24lbs I want to loose this month. I don't know if it is possible or not but I am sure going to give it a shot! I want to loose 10lbs every month and by Feb. 14th to be under 200lbs. I am 238 right now and I started out at 250. Do you all think this is realistic?

Here's my original November goal "

I'm at 166.2 - goal is to get into the 150's. I'd love to get to 155 in November which would make me a "healthy" weight."

As of today 11/16 I'm at 158.0! So I'm pretty happy! I've psyched myself up for Thanksgiving!

Missalissa you're doing great!

How is everyone else doing?

Great job Badger! Keep on keeping on!

I would have been doing better except I had to take off 6 pounds of water I gained last week and I didn't eat off plan. Man, why couldn't that have been fat off my thighs instead?

My goals are to eat like it's any other day, enjoy myself, and focus far, far, away from gluttony. That's what I think Thanksgiving became for me at my biggest point, something I did for many years. It was sad, I would binge for days. Now I set goals of what I will eat and how much and stick to it. The reward comes the next day when I go shopping and feel the sense of accomplishment of having no big tummy blues.

I plan a lot. I decorate a lot, I cook up a storm all day, but it's all LC for me. One of my biggest goals is to stick to MY menu. I make several dishes for my family that I don't eat , but I fully enjoy YUMMY turkey, veggies, homemade LC cranberry sauce, LC gravy, LC pumpkin "pie" (no crust) with freshly whipped cream on top. That's actually a LOT of food, we're so blessed to live in this great country, with all its abundance. I just keep the portions small and my eye on the way I will feel when I hit the malls the next day. My focus is having fun with my family.

I won't lose weight, but I won't gain. All week I ate mostly fish, veggies, and dry salad so I have a small, clean appetite going into Thanksgiving. I actually lost a lb already this week because I've been eating very small dinners.

My goal is to actually remember to be thankful and appreciate by not over indulging. You know how good the first bite of something tastes? After that, it's never as good. I will be trying to focus on that kind of satisfaction, not the kind that makes me regret what I did to myself.

i only started back today...so there isn't much of november left for my goal...but i'm hoping to drop 5.5 pounds by the end (we talk in kilos so that will get me just below 70kg...) i don't care if it's just water weight...just as long as that scale goes downwards, and my confidence upwards!! i just don't want to be over 70 anymore. i'm sick of feeling fluffy and puffy.

congrats to all that have achieved their goals
