Spend 30 minutes 3 x per week cleaning/organizing house (equivalent to trip to dentist)

4 hrs x 5 days week direct billable time in the office.
So far, this month stinks for sticking to my plans here. Tonight, I think my house cleaning is going to be clearing off the seat on the weight machine, and maybe that will help.

I am going to restart with these goals as of this week, and ignore the first part of Sept. Same weight, so still going to try for that 5 lbs.

Hope everyone else is doing better in sept than I am.

Best of Luck Kaci and enjoy your trip to Paris ! I was there for 8 days last year and it is, to me, the most beautiful place in the world and I have traveled a lot.....we stayed in a gorgeous hotel right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower......I will never forget my time in Paris.....it was life changing !

Be careful though......the french cuisine is FABULOUS and of course they are big on the carbs over there......pasta and bread EVERYWHERE you GO ! lol
However, the MOST important thing, (yes even besides low carbs) is to make sure you take the time to truly enjoy the trip and absorb as much of the wonderful French culture as you possibly can......they truly love life and celebrate living every day !

Wish I was going back, but my next trip is to Italy in the late spring of '08, and by then I pray I will be down to my goal weight and who knows, I might just get some comments of "Bellissimo" (beautiful in Italian) from those gorgeous Italian men ! lol

Have a wonderful trip and make some lifetime memories !

You are "Bella" ! (Beautiful in French)

Is the lowcarb store (outlet) still in Anderson or is it just a mail order outlet?

Hey there......as far as I know it is just a mail order outlet.....I believe they closed the actual store, although I just stared LC'ing for the first time ever this week, so I have not checked it out. But my sister did LC last year and I beleive I remember her saying they had closed the store.

Hope you are having a good week !

A day early, but here's my progress report ...

1. Half way there! 3.5 pounds to go! I was worried last week, but definitely think I'll make it with two weeks left to go.
2. Walking - not doing so well ... this week has been especially difficult to get out there.
3. No yoga ... I have a formal class starting in a couple of weeks tho so that'll help
4. Doing well here ... pretty much daily
5. Doing well here ... do something every day

My September Goals?

1. to stick with it, and never stray!

2. if I stall I may throw in a few days of the M & E and if desparate...the IF!

3. to try to figure out the ins and outs of this site. Like how to post "days on plan" if there is that option, and how to insert a "ticker"! I am clueless with tech stuff!

Ok, I am RE-starting my low carb diet.

My goals are:

1. work out at least 2x per week
2. lose 5 lbs
3. eat meat/cheese/fruits/veggies, no sugar or breads/starches (I am healthier when I stay away from the "whites")

ok so I have started back up again this time trying atkins 72.

1. Not to be so obsessed with losing. I either eat too much or not enough I am totally all or nothing type person and this has caused a lot of weight fluctuations and food issues. I am TIRED of it, not to mention how embarrasing and unhealthy it is.

2. to be able to run a full mile without stopping to walk.

3. I'm going to 2 big events this month that totally focus on food and I want to stick with my induction and dont want to cave in!!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for me and I hope everyone else complete their goals

so, how you all doin on your Sept. goals.

My progress:
*to get to goal, hopefully the beginning of the month. ~ yeah! made it this last wed.

*to quickly learn my maintenance plan so it becomes easy and 2nd nature to do. (dont' want to "feel" like i'm on a diet the rest of my life.) ~ I got my maintenance plan, have looked over it and asked questions from my coach. I will have to think about my menue's for awhile but I have a good start to at least think about what I'm doing.

*to keep my exercise routine consistent after school starts this week and I go back to work. ~ I have kept up with this so far. I am taking a one week break from my weight workout and am only doing 3 days of low impact cardio instead of running. (my body needed a break) BUT, Wed, or Thur I will be back at the gym with a new routine and be at it again.

Unless I have a carb binge in the next four hours - I've met my first goal! Whoo hoo! I've struggled so long to just do a clean Induction. My life has been topsy turvy for the past year and I just kept trying and failing. I'm thrilled to be moving on to OWL, more food choices, and the pride of having met this goal.

My update so far this month:

1) Still drinking waaaay too much coke zero and not enough water!
2) Have fallen off plan more days than I've stayed on
3) Still struggling with any loss and have been yo-yoing
4) Portions haven't been too bad, its what I'm eating thats the problem

Will try to kick it into gear for the last half of the month and see what I can do

I'd like to get to 160- only have 10 days to it, lose 6 pounds but have been way carbed up lately so should be attainable.
Also stick to my survivor bootcamp 3 days a week and try to fit in a walk 1-2 more times as well per week.
