Today's update.

K is eating Apple Jacks by the ton. She almost got a 'goldfish' in there but decided not yet.

The NG tube was re-inserted. This will stay in place until she drinks well, or at least better than she does now.

K did not want her grapes yesterday. But keep those Apple Jacks coming. She even started dipping the little o's in milk.

Senorina: She is 3 and the Dr's have done every test possible on her. Every thing done is either negative or normal.

Since she is only 3 they do not expect to ever find out what made her do this or why. They can only speculate on what she has told them and treat her accordingly.

The most prolific thing she has stated is she is scared of thunder. Since this all started on January 1st and the few days thereafter, we can only assume that she was scared so badly by the fireworks on New Years Eve at midnight that this her way of dealing with it. We just have to turn her from the dark side to get her to enjoy eating again.

Then again we could be totally way off base. Until she opens up and tells all we will just never know.

The big improvment is that she is asking for food (Apple Jacks) and eating them, not that she is eating because she is forced to eat them. A big step in the right direction, but oh so very far to go yet.

I am SO glad she seems to be getting better. I'm sure a nice neat diagnosis with an assurance that this will never happen again would be nice, but this is really great news that I'm sure you're all very thankful for.

I had a thought. Is it possible that the fireworks scared her so badly she vomited? Maybe not even a lot, but little bit then possibly swallowed it again? I don't know why I thought of that, but I can see that turning her off of eating.
