Thanks for the update, Emily. I too am so glad it's treatable and they've started right in on it . . . I'm keeping the whole family in my thoughts and prayers.

For anyone who knows, what is the name of her younger son? Isn't he the one that had another serious illness, a tumor or something? What a heavy burden for one family . . . Her boys are fighters (like Mom, I'm sure) . . . and I know Joseph can beat this!

Please do keep us updated. My heart and prayers go to her, her ex and Joseph. If he does need to spend extended time in the hospital we sould send him a BB care package with comics, games if he has a gameboy and things to keep him busy. I would be happy to donate something.

Okay.. so we will know in a few hours what the prognosis is. She's currently at the clinic with her OTHER son because they have a review of his MRI's to make sure everything is good there still.

The doctor's said that last night he was feeling a little better. Last night when they went into check on him he was sitting up playing Legos. He is of course not doing well again today, but is scheduled for another blood transfusion later today.

She got good sleep last night and is feeling better today.

I am definitely relaying all of your messages.
