I seem to count the weeks for some reason. I just passed week 5 yesterday. It seems like each week gets tougher for now. I've been spending a lot of time on the PG to escape and even try to laugh a bit. A grief counselor told me mourning can really be ehxausting and I agree. I was telling her I thought I was avoiding facing things but she reassured me I was dealing with it and gave several examples.

So here I am, trying to give my mind a break from the sadness. Its a good escape

There are some pretty funny threads here lately, especially the one started by Seabean, I highly recommend, for some good laughs.

Anyways~I'm sure the ole saying "Time heals all wounds" isn't necessarily true.... I just hope you take one day at a time....and appreciate all things life has given you.

Countless time and time again I've seen this thread and have never even opened it.

Susan - I'm very sorry for your loss. Nothing can heal a wound like this but with time the pain will lessen. Scott will always look down on his lovely wife from above, watch over you and keep harm out of your way. He is forever your guardian angel!

I recently lost someone very dear to me and it still hurts inside. I try to remind myself that he too is no longer hurting from his cancer and doing what he loves in heaven.

Now I understand the sentiment to losing your ring (tears are welling up in my eyes as I type this). GAWD I'm soooooooo sorry.
