Oh my gosh, I was choked up to find this has become a sticky.

I am so thankful that there's so many kind responses here. As each day passes I get sadder and sadder.

I've spent the week making funeral arrangements for Scott. Its the hardest thing I've ever done and I've hated every step of the process.

His funeral is on Monday at 11:00.

Sadly, his family is behaving just as he figured they would. They're very dysfunctional and selfish and he didn't want me to have to deal with them. Unfortunately they're behaving just as he predicted and have succeeded in making things even more stressful for me. I'm going to do my best to get through the day and hope to have very little contact with them after that. Its unbelievable how people can act sometimes.

Thank you again for all the kind sentiments and posts here. I can't even find words strong enough to express how much I truly appreciate it.

Although I havent had the pleasure of speaking with you or learning of your husband, I see that you are both wonderful, loving, and deserving people. Scott will always live on as a part of you. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that your friends on LCF can help and support you through this very sad time in your life. You are an amazing person for standing by his side.
