I think about this often. We were together all the way to the end, and I was there with him long after he passed. I really, really, really *hope* he knew I was there long after he slipped away. The things that haunt your mind can take over your thoughts after a while. Everything is so new and recent still but I hope he felt safe and comfortable.

Scott knew you were there honey.

You know when you go to sleep at night and you are reassured even in your sleep that someone is there. Scott now has the ability to be with you always, everywhere, forever. How awesome and free he must feel. To know that evey second of every day forever he can be with you and by your side.
