OK how many of us are up for keeping Delta alive, even if this challenge finishes forever at the end of it's 12 week run? IE transfering us all over onto the main CC board.

Hi Colette, what I'm trying to say is this. Do you want to stay as part of Delta once the 12 weeks are over. Not as part of a challenge but as a support group, where we can drag each other through to our goal weights no matter how long it takes?

Hi everyone,
Well Nikki you know I'm a Deltan all the way! I'm all for staying together to support each other even after the challenge is over. I have a long way to go and I need all the help I can get, and I'm more than willing to help where I can. Speaking of which, have you found our missing members? Any word from the silent ones?

Hi everyone,

I am doing great today, My DD is back home with her BF and is cleaning out and decluttering her old room. She found some rings that I had given her, but she didn't wear, so I asked for them back. One is the wedding band that my Grandmother wore in 1905. I have it on my finger today because my wedding band was too big and this one fits perfectly. The other is my mother's class ring from 1923 from Bennington High School in Vermont. I feel connected today.

Food is in its place. I lost 3 lbs in January and am very happy with that. Losing anything in the winter is a success. I didn't do any organized exercise in January due to the snow and ice and lack of desire. But as the days get warmer and longer, I plan to get back to it. I am staying the course.

Monday, already? Well, crap... it's Wednesday! Flime ties when you're fanning hun.

Or something.

I hope everyone's having a great week. It's been a good one for me, so far. Got cholesterol numbers in and they look good. I'm also managing to win a few water weight battles now that I'm on a scrip for water pills. Not crazy about the side effects, though.

Yo.. its FRIDAY. Where is everyone? I dont' always post but I like to read.. besides, the boss isn't lookin right now.

I have been very good for the last 4 weeks and haven't lost a bloody pound nor have I lost an inch. I am afraid that even my hard work will not compare to what everyone here has accomplished. I will be the only one to have not lost a damn inch or pound. and i'm sad about it.

I did cheat last night, and i lost a pound and a half this morning. go figure.

I did NOT however, cheat today when I could have very easily. I may have a problem on Sunday, because I plan to have a couple drinks while playing pool and watching the game.

where is everyone?? huh? huh?

Well Patti apart from the leg ulcer, the remains of the flu bug and reoccuring bouts of depression, I'm feeling quite good.
I hope to be posting a lot more once Zoe and Colinj are over their bouts of the flu. As everyone knows it's hard to play at being Florence Nightingale when you're feeling below par yourself.

Yikes Nikki, sounds wild over there!! Hope you all are feeling better soon. What happened to your leg? Sounds painful.

Patti, you are doing so great!! Keep up the great work.

I am doing pretty bad lb. wise. I am up almost 10lbs from my siggy. I've really got no excuse, but keep trying to stay on plan but it's not working very well. I've got some mood issues that aren't helping. So I'm just trying to stay on induction one day at a time for at least 2 weeks.
I let myself have a free-for all over the weekend, which actually sounds worse than it was. I just gave in to a few foods that I really wanted. I ate them until they were gone or I got sick of them. By Saturday night, I was sick of junk food and seemed to naturally want to eat lower carb...besides the fact I was dying of thirst on Sunday morning from the carb/sugar overload. Yes, I do have some food issues to work through yet.

So for those of you that are worried if you didn't do well on the challenge, join the club.
For those of you doing what you should be, whether you showed much loss or not...
GREAT JOB!!!

I suck at this. I suck at this. I truely suck at this. I can't pinpoint where I'm going wrong, I basically suck at this.

then again, I did have ano no food on Thursday (a hot pocket), and drinks yesterday. Food was good yesterday.. just a LOT of alcohol.

oh... i'm joining a gym tonight.

A HOT POCKET??? why do you even have those in the house girlie? And if you tell me they're because of the kids, you know I'm gonna tell you they don't need them either.

Neeta...you don't suck at this. You're just struggling. You've been on and off the wagon so many times in the past, that now that you've got your butt glued in the seat (sorta) your body is confused.

I will ask again...are you drinking your water? Have you been getting your exercise in? How 'bout those veggies girlie?

I do see you're signing up for the gym! This is good news! *girlie gets excited...one more thing to keep tabs on*

Methinks Mizz Thang's gonna get tired of me following her around.

Aww Neeta you don't suck at this, you are human like the rest of us, and it's hard to stay on this WOE all the time. It's hard, if it was easy everyone could do it and no one would ever be over weight. We all struggle, so don't be so hard on yourself. Remember you are worth the effort it takes to get to your goal. Might I suggest watching those drinks? ( ducks and runs) Even though I guess the carbs are low it can still mess you up and slow your loss down I think. Hang in there kiddo!

As for me, I went back to Curves today, I felt bad missing 2 days last week Anyhow I weighed and I'm down 2 more for a total of 74 and I think that is 25 so far for this challenge, I need to check my records. I am eating more veggies which is good and taking my vitamins again so maybe my energy will return.

It may be OVER.........

We have dwindled down to just a few of us and I am thinking of ending the challenge after this week.......

The only team that has accually stuck together is the Kilo's, and I commend them for their ability to stick together as a team, supporting eachother.

I have burnt out, not with the WOE, but with this challenge.

If there are any opposers to calling it good please let me know via PM, and I will try to reconsider.

Thanks,

Tracie

Here's a GREAT example!! It must be me killing the groups. I belonged to the Alpha group and where did they go? Now the Deltas.. and where are they?

See? no responses since last night. I actually ENJOYED this challenge. No fair for everyone to bail when people need you.

I'm here, and I sent Tracie a PM as she suggested telling her I want to keep going. This happened somewhat last challenge too and I believe we need to all stay together and finish what we started, both this challenge and our own personal goals. I'm here till the end I hope all of you are too.
