All you can do is move on...or maybe go throw up!
Just kidding! Start fresh tomorrow.Try psyching yourself out...try not to look at it as "the forbidden fruit"...convince yourself it's poison. I'd better go psych myself into going to sleep, cause that Mich is tasting better and better in my mind!!! |

I did it!!!!!! I am at goal!!!!!!
I can't believe it...I stepped on the scale and it said 138! I have lost 4lbs this week and many inches because all my new clothes are loose. YIPPEE!! Vacation here I come...Thanks to all the great information here I was able to make this happen. I never thought I could cut out the cheese and nuts I was consuming and it made such a difference. I have twice the energy I normally do and I was able to rid myself of all my cravings. I am a believer! Total loss for the week...4lbs!!! Have a great day, E. ![]() |

A week of Kimmer Experiement
Weighed this morning--down five pounds on a week of the Kimmer Experiment. On Sunday I will start Atkins Induction. I wasn't stalled, just noticed that my weight loss was somewhat slower than it had been over the past months.
Benefits I saw during the week: Enormous loss of appetite Increased energy Loss of 5 pounds - (could say 8, but 3 was just TOM fluctuation) Thanks for the challenge, Kimmer--on my way to 100 pounds gone forever. |

Day 4
Thanks for your response Kimmer! I dont know why I ate so much at yesterday's breakfast. I guess I wasnt full even tho I wasnt starving. So I ate till full. It helped the rest of the day though since I only at 4 oz chix breast and 5 oz beef the rest of the day.
DOWN to 135 this morning! Long time since I saw that number. That makes a 4 lb loss. I have decided to keep going on this for a couple more days to see what happens. I am not craving veggies or anything. Also not having "movement" problems so no problem there. Only problem is that I was invited to Theo and Stacy's for lunch *greek*. I dont know how I will handle it maybe order an omlette w/o cheese. We shall see. robyn

DOING THE HAPPY DANCE IN TEXAS HERE!!! 4.6 lbs gone in 4 days! I'm so happy I could cry. I've been battling the same stupid pound for months - until this week! I have a dinner at church tomorrow night and another one Sunday night - and I'll have a few carbs at those (veggies & maybe a few strawberries while they're eating desserts), but Monday I'm going right back to strict meat fast until I reach my final goal - which I'm still not sure exactly what that is! LOL
Kimmer.......thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! ![]()

Well, today is day 3, and I have lost 3.5 pounds in 2 days. I am sooo excited. This is with the porkrinds. I limited myself though. I am going to keep this up for another day or two. What's really wierd is that I didn't measure myself before, but feel as if I notice the biggest change in inches.

Haley & rrr, go ahead and add some veggies! There's no reason to stay on protein only (unless someone wants to) ... just to be aware of the carbs you're taking in so you can stay in fast weight loss mode!
Actually, I just started a 10 day water fast yesterday (I'm hungry as $%*& right now, LOL!) and what I'm craving is a salad from Outback with their outstanding ceasar dressing ... OK, OK, we all have our own warped fantasies! THF, do you think you might do better on low fat high carb (Weight Watcher type) or South Beach (low fat lower carb)? Just a thought. You don't want to be miserable for heaven's sake! NWLoser, when you look for the milk thistle (it's over in the supplements section with saw palmetto, echinacea, etc.), make sure you get the ones in gelatin capsules, not the tablets. The tablets don't dissolve (no wonder they're cheaper, LOL!) ![]() |

Meat Fast
I started this on Monday and have continued thru today. I got a wonderful gift from my daughter - STREP on Tuesday and was really sick. My weight went up (from 155) to 161. I weighed today though and am down to 153.5. So, it has paid off. I am consuming at the max 800 calories and as low as 500. Carbs from 2-5. How are we to add back carbs? Just move into induction? A salad? Put anything on it, like cheese, tomatoes, etc? I know alot of questions, but I have been out due to being sick and dont feel like going back thru everything.
Thanks in advance.

I think I blew it!
I went to lunch at a greek restaraunt thinking I will just have a gyro omlette. I just searched the boards and it appears that gyro meat has CARBS! I thought it was just lamb and spices! THEN, I found a hair in my omlette which I had special ordered without any milk or cheese. They made me another one, when it got to the table it looked fluffy. I ate about 4 small bites but I am pretty sure it had MILK in it! GRRRS.
I hope I didnt blow day four cause its going so well. But now I have heartburn! Thats a bad sign... robyn PS. does anyone know how many carbs are in gyro meat. I figure I prolly ate a couple ounces (at the most). robyn |

This is such a long thread that it's hard to read through and see if this did or didn't work for most people. Would you consider doing a "RESULTS -- Kimmers 3 day challenge" thread so those of us pressed for time can see how it went? Thank you in advance for considering the idea.
(And my apologies if this has already been suggested. I've only read 1½ pages of this thread due to time constraints. I will try to read it all at some point.) Best wishes to all of you! |

I wanna do this too...Im getting frustrated because I went up 2 pounds...I know that I have had a great loss in the first month. I have kept my carbs at around 10-15 too...I only had 1/2 of a 1 carb hershy bar for a treat in 1 month. No diet sodas or anything. Most of my carbs are from 2 cups of coffee with cream and splenda! This is getting old.....I dont want to be a slow loser like the last time. It took me 8 months to lose 41 pounds last time and thats sticking to 20 carbs a day!
Im rarely hungry this time so maybe this will work for me. When I read that Kimmer said this poster could lose 50 pounds in 7 weeks I was shocked and intrigued.

I'll give it a try. I had been losing through Jan but then had a difficult time staying on focused while out of town this last weekend. I need to get back on track. I was really eating crazy. Don't know what came over me. I think I was possessed.
Thanks for reviving this! |

I'm starting it today. It consists of meat NO CARBS for three days. After that its up to you to add carbs back in SLOWLY. YOu can also eat eggs some mayo, and what ever fat you cook your meat in.
