Powdered splenda has 24 carbs per cup. That would be 1.5 per Tablespoon.

according to an article at Bella online, 96 calories per cup. I can't even find Splenda on Fitday.

http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art10621.asp

16 T = 1 cup
96/4=24 carbs per cup

24/16T=1.5 carbs per Tablespoon

Hey Kimmer...I'm still on this energetic boost from the 5lb loss in 3 days.... However it's like I'm not hungry at all. I had to force myself to eat 2 eggs and 3 turkey sausages... Is it safe to just be on 2 cups of coffee and lc creamer and one or just two meals a day? As you have read in my earlier post, I'm staying on this for another 30lb loss... Thanks!

Thank you both Amadeus and Kimmer you've been most helpful! I'm sure the woman will now breathe a sigh of relief and start eating what she cooked!

Thanks once again,

mine were 1100-1200 per day. Probably because most days I had tuna w/ 2T mayo.

Thanks, the highest I have gotten is 1100 and same thing.. the mayo for the tuna.. and steak that day ... normally I am under 1000... I guess as long as we are "losers" it doesn't matter!

My calories have been going down daily but, especially today, they were nearly halved because my dog decided he prefered my 3-day experiment food choices to his usual chicken. So.............

okay this sounds too good to be true but I am in. I will start tomorrow as I just made cabbage and hamburg for dinner. I have been stuck since new years with only a couple lbs down. lost and gained the same few lbs all month. I am really getting frustrated and have been cheat free. Tomorrow is the day. Wish me luck

I wanna ask....

before they close this topic out.... is there a general range of fat grams we should stay within? I know we need to eat lean meats but any idea of a good target to stay in? This would help me tremendously. We grill a lot of steaks, chicken and ground beef (90/10 sirloin) but a target range would GREATLY be appreciated!

If no one knows and you use FitDay or some other way to monitor, can you please tell me what your average daily fat gram intake is?

THANKS in Advance!

Katt

question kimmer

I have a question, I started the challange and have done three days, down 4 pounds. If we exercise while eating meat only will our bodies breakdown muscle for energy? Thanks so much for your help!

Randy, what can say other than............he already does. My local healthfood store sells multivitamins for dogs & cats and he's thriving on them. And he doesn't forget his water either! He's not overweight but clearly he's got some sort of plan of becoming a lean, mean.......doggie machine.....! God help those other canines out there. As it is he thinks he's the world's scariest Rottweiler (he's a Shi Tzu with an attitude in real life).

I've always said that had he been human he'd have been a medallion man. Well, now he'll have the muscles to go with it!

The doctor told me that if you keep your way of eating down to almost zero carbs - you can easily loose 25# a month. He also said to only weigh once a month (which is extremely difficult).

So Kimmer is correct. It can be done - and she is living testimony to that fact.

I know it gets boring - because I really craved something to eat that would make noise when I chewed. The outcome is definitely worth a few months of inconvenience and cravings.

Let's keep going !!!! Bathing suit season is just around the corner.

My fat intake has been in the 60 to 65% range with under 800 ries per day. I use just a smidgen of butter to cook my eggs in but that's it...and of course, I have been doing nothing but eggs, eggs, eggs...and I'm down 7 lbs in 3 days...so I really don't think the fat percentage matters. The more suppressed your appetite, the more your fat and calories will come down being that you really won't be eating a lot - or you may get to the point where you're not eating anything at all...

Here's a shortcut. It can be found in Past Amazing Posts. There's lots of wonderful info packed into this thread. Pour a tall glass of your favorite drink and be prepared to sit for a while.

Paging Kimmer, Dana, or other Retin-A users>>

Happy Reading! Michelle
