Blabbermouth!!!
|
I am on board starting today. Starting weight is 191. I have a couple of questions for Kimmer. Can you use just about any herb and spices for the meat? Can I use a small amount of Olive Oil and mayo to cook with? Can I chew a couple pieces of SF gum a day? And lastly are turkey sausage and turkey pepperoni allowed? Thanks Kimmer for all your help. Everyone seems so motivated.

You can't post images in your siggy.. that is why it won't stay. The IMG tags are turned off by administraton. If you want that on your posts you'll have to paste it each time at the bottom of the dialog box. Sorry. |

Can you all start posting what you are eating and how you are cooking it.
Are your hard boiled eggs eaten plain or with some mayo? Are your meats cooked in any oil? What is a typical Breakfast, lunch and dinner? Thank you ![]() |

If you can do without the SF jello for 3 days, do it! It's good for your soul ... and your self control (wait, I think we're hitting on a theme song?) Don't sweat a tiny jello cup, but if you're like me ... who tended to eat "free" things by the vat, then pass on it. |

Songbird, if you'll die without the coffee go ahead ... light cream or half & half would be better (have any lower cal protein choices for the rest of the day?) I'm assuming 1 cup of coffee with a tablespoon of cream? If you're a heavy coffee drinker, maybe check out lower calorie cream ideas? Not just for the experiment, but forever? ![]() |

Hi there! I have been following this thread with great interest (though I'm guilty of not reading the ENTIRE thing lol) and have to say that this sounds like a great idea! I have been calorie cycling, and I'm thinking that on the 3 days that I am in my 'up' cycle I would do it all protein. Does this sound like a good idea? I hope so, I've started today!
Do you think this would work the same way? Also, I wanted to say that Kimmer, I've never really commented on anything you've posted directly, or spoken with you, but I have followed the starvation threads and although I am more confused than ever about starvation mode, what you say makes SO much sense. I mean really, why WOULD the body go into starvation mode if it has all that body fat to contend with? Not to bring the discussion up again, as I definitely don't want to get that started on this thread, but I just wanted to make that comment where I knew you'd see it without starting a flamefest, lol. Anyway, just trying to say that I really respect your opinions and especially your weight loss, and if that means I'm in some sort of club, count me in! lol.

I was using heavy cream but half and half is fine...that will save me and hubby doing two different things LOL. I used to drink 2 cups...now cutting it down to one. Its a treat for me...I dont really need the "fix"
I wasnt even paying attention to the calorie amounts until you mentioned it yesterday!! I was taking in 400 in just cream, butter, mayo and cheese! |

Your body has no choice but to give up body fat. If you haven't lost on Day 3, you may have been more over on carbs than you thought ... or, everything weighs something before it's expelled. During the Experiment, there's no fiber. Your body is losing. Ever wonder about the posts of "I didn't a lose a thing for a week, then I lost 6 pounds overnight?" That's what happened. Eat! |

Thanks Kimmer- I'm not that worried about the weight loss- I havent weighed myself yet. I'm just frustrated that I'm not experiencing that lack of hunger. I'm going to eat a chicken breast but I'm just concerned....I have only been eating meat that I cook myself so I know its safe
I think I'm just an exception I'm not giving up though! |
