I've read all the posts. And WOW I'm excited!! I'm going to run right out and find some or die trying...LOL.. I've even talked my mom into trying them[which wasn't hard] . She's Diabetic so she's syked (probably not spelled right..sorry).
I've just begun my induction so this should be very interesting to see what kind of results I can get. If there's a challange I'm in!!

Wow, I can't wait.

Hi all,
Read about CLA with wonder. Thanks everyone for all the info. Maybe that will be my answer to the stall I'm in and the fact that after 2 mths on Atkins I've only lost 3 lbs. By the way.....what does LOL stand for??????? Best to all, Laine

Woohoo I love all the new initiates lol wow its goinst to be a HUGE club!! :-P

Zoey- I have the ground flax that I add here and there to some foods but the ones from Natrol are actualy a supplement- they actually look alot like the CLA caps- they are filled with Omega oils- these are actually cheap, something like $6-7 for 90 caps
I like the caps because I KNOW that im getting it without having to eat it

Zoey, No you're not missing anything. I figured, since you lived in PA @ one time you might recognize the initials. If you had lived around here they would have rung a bell w/ you. It was kind of convoluted. Anyway, thanks for helping me pass the time tonight. You're the only thing that has kept me involved in days. Been in a funk. Think I'm coming out of it though, so thanks for the life preserver. It's amazing sometimes how we can help others w/out even knowing. You did your good deed for the day. Laine

I'm ready!

Okay I went to GNC and bought the CLA so I am ready to start tomorrow. I have one question though (well actually two ). The bottle I bought says to take 1 tablet daily but I know I read that most of you are taking at least 4. Does your bottle tell you to take 4 or did you up the amount for better results?I also bought Flax Seed Oil 1000 and it says to take one daily also. How many do you think I need? If anyone is still up and can help me I want to be educated on this by morning.
Thank you!!

Thanks Quilted Star- Im DEFINATELY going there tomorrow, I didnt make it in time to GNC, that sounds like a great buy for 90 caps

HAPPYLEIGH I believe yours says 1 with each meal like mine :-) I was taking 3-4 per day and had TREMENDOUS results, I just uped it to 6 per day the past week because someone was saying that was what was needed but honestly, Im not seeing a difference and think Im going to cut back down to 4- take 2 in the morning and 1 with lunch and 1 with dinner, you should do real well with that :-)
Flax seed says up to 3 per day, I take 1 with each meal

Good Luck!

I bought the CLA yesterday, and the pills are big. But I am not having any trouble swallowing them. The bottle does say take one daily. But I am probably going to take one with each meal.
I also bought some Cromium @ 200mcg. This is also said to help with blood sugar as well as the CLA. I talked to the girls at the healthfood store about taking the two together and they said it was fine, there wouldnt be any complications.
So I am in on this one too.

Do you think it would be ok to take the Omega oil caps with the CLA...
All that oil.
What does the flax seed oil do??? I have been seeing it mentioned and am wondering if I should be picking it up.

Actually someone in another thread did say they have been taking both the CLA and fish oil capsules at the same time and they have done fine on the two together.

Hi everybody!

Well, I'm jumping on THIS wagon!! LOL
I just ordered off ebay from the same guy you all have mentioned. Should take about a week to get here from the states. They DO have it to sell here.... guess how much? $60 for 90 caps! HA! I got 2 bottles and WITH foreign shipping it was still less than $50.!!! I'm happy!

I was JUST complaining to myself that my tummy has always been my problem area! ALWAYS! so this will be excellent!!!

A very happy girl, Meli

I found this info on flax seed oil.
Traditional Use: Cardiovascular disease, High cholesterol, MS, arthritis.
Also known as linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) flaxseed oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid, one of the omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids seem to be helpful in reducing the risk of heart disease. Flax seed oil contains twice as much omega-3 as fish oils and has been referred to as a plant version of fish oil. It is currently being studied for its possible role in cancer prevention. Animal studies done in Canada have shown it to significantly block breast and colon carcinogens. Several scientific studies show that omega-3 consumption leads to substantially lower numbers of deaths from coronary heart disease.

Did anyone start a challenge on the challenge board? I am a member of a couple of the challenges and they really do help. It could be a place where we could ask each other questions about any type of side effects or a place to just brag about how skinny we are looking. We could measure every week or two and post our results. It sounded like plenty of people were interested. I don't really know how to add a new challenge. Is there anyone here who does.
