Primal recipes.....?
Well.... after trial and errors have decided that Primal is the best shot at eating for me and will beginning my new life in the a.m....... My issues is that I need recipes that go with that type of lifestyle to make it more interesting... I am not real inventive. I also need recipes that call for ingredients that I do not have to go to JAPAN or somewhere equivilent to find them.
Any idea folks...? Vicki |

Mark's Daily Apple is a good site and he has links to other sites that are good too. |

Love NomNom Paleo! Also: The Clothes Make the Girl (very weird name for a foodie blog, I know) has some wonderful recipes too- I love a dish called "Comfort Noodles" on that site.

The slow cooker Paleo Meatloaf from The Slow Cooking Paleo Cookbook is great!
Here's the recipe as I recall (made it last night): 1-1.5 pounds ground beef 1-2 cups cauliflower, pulverized in food processor (like you would make for cauli rice) 1/c cup almond meal 1 small can mild green chile peppers 1/2 c salsa 2.5 tsp chili powder 3/4 tsp oregano 3/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp basil 1/2 tsp salt Mix all and form into a loaf and plop into slow cooker. Cover loaf w sugar free ketchup or tomato paste if desired. Cook on high for 4 hours. It is SO scumptious. Even my meatloaf hating husband liked it (it was supposed to be for my lunches but he ate it!). Makes about 4 generous portions. Leslie |
