LCF Newbie here
Hello there!
I just wanted to introduce myself. After speaking with one of my teachers, I've started eating with a Paleo template. She also suggested LCF as a great place to receive/give motivation, and connect with others doing the same. So that is exactly what I am here for! |

WELCOME! You have indeed found a great forum for support along your journey to a slimmer you and better health. I'm fairly new at Paleo myself and just last Friday finished my Whole 30 (actually Whole60, because I had to restart) challenge. But I've been low-carbing for 3 years, lost 36# on LC and hope to get a bit healthier on Paleo/Primal. Reducing dairy and sweeteners is all goodness in my book. If I lose a little more weight, that would be great, but I'm OK if I don't. Just want to get healthier.
Stick around and learn from the veterans (and other newbies) the tips and advice that will help make this easier for you.

I've noticed this subforum is a bit quieter than the other LCF forums, but folks do pop in and post from time to time. I've been posting mostly recipes in that thread, because I'm so used to low-carbing, I'm having no problems/difficulties making the transition to Primal. But I check it often if you should have questions I can help out with.

Awesome ladies, thank you! I definitely had a "grrr" moment this morning. My hubby and i started eating Paleo monday. He weighs himself this morning and tells me he's down 12 pounds!
Needless to say, it was early and I am not a morning person, so he got one of the biggest eye rolls I could deliver. And of course I'm stoked that he's having success...buy um yeah... |

Oh, well. It's an evolutionary adaptation - Grok might need to get lean quick during hunting season, while Groksie needs to hold on to fat stores in case of pregnancy. Maddening. |

@KittyMcKnitty- You're soo right...And to be honest I should have expected it. I know men lose more quickly, plus he trains in Krav Maga, which is intense. I haven't even started an exercise plan yet. I just finished going to school at night for a year(while working a full time 9-5), at this point I need sleep more than anything. So it makes total sense, I just didn't want to here it first thing in the morning hahaha...
