Can you please link to the banana muffin recipe? I don't have a loss to post yet - just to be clear, that's due to not eating Primal, not because the program doesn't work. |

My computer fast on Sat/Sun did not last long. Breaking news *Whitney Houston* and a coloring sheet for Sunday school intruded. Oh well, will try another day. Hubby brought home tulips instead of chocolate this year. Can't eat tulips. Had one terrible night--Hubby's business cell phone goes off at 1am, I sat awake till 5 But slept well last night. Love 8 hours.B-2 banana muffins, coffee S-trail mix L-green smoothie with cocoa and banana S-1/2 apple or almonds TBD D-grilled lemon/garlic marinated chicken thighs, fantastic *pull out the stops, everything but kitchen sink* Greek salad Dessert-none. That should be 100% |

Only 5 hours sleep last night. Sigh. Must do better tonight. Must do better tonight.. Out of melatonin, and have some on order from Amazon. Had planned a 3 mile jog today but will end up being a 2-3 mile slow walk. Will do better tomorrow. Not a total loss--browsed lots of primal/paleo sites during the wee hours...
Plan on eating 100% today: B-2 eggs, 2 banana muffins, coffee with coconut creamer (note: have cut way, way back on eggs in last few weeks. I've gone from 3 cooked eggs several times a week to just 2 maybe 2 times a week. Cyclical, tired of them right now maybe )S-trail mix L-BA salad but undecided which protein to team it with or may just throw in all those artichoke hearts I didn't get to last night S-fresh strawberries D-lamb burgers (carrying on the Greek theme) and sweet potato fries *we had our steak/Valentine's dinner on Sunday* Not sure if I'll make Oopsies or just scoop the burger with my romaine leaves. Yummy with paleo tzatsiki (sp?) Gotta score some fresh mint somewhere. Hope everyone has a nice and productive day! Last edited by mamasooze; 02-14-2012 at 04:43 AM.. |

L.O.L. and hardy har har... second storm in a week. But I'm not complaining. 2011 was the year without a summer here. And 2012 has been the year without a winter.
Oh, and I should have said, I'm too lazy to go out for a run. I plan on doing some push ups and squats here soon!! |

Just got an email on super special sale at Whole Foods for whole organic chickens- 1.99 lb. What to do, what to do. Grilling/BBQ starts soon here. Hmmm. Just may go down there and buy 5 or so. We love beer can chicken. We are high class round here. We don't use beer, we use Stella Artois in an old Miller Lite can with fresh herbs of course. Naw, we dont do that any beer with fresh herbs is fine with us. |

I tried beer can chicken once. Didn't go well. What I like to do is butterfly the clucker before grilling (or roasting!). It cooks so much faster and you don't waste all that back meat like seems to happen with the bird "whole".
I can do 25 squats while brushing my teeth, and so can you! |

Had a bad night. My fault. Went to sleep too early. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Fell asleep before first commercial of "Top Chef"-one of the few TV shows I watch. AAARGGGG. Will try a nap this afternoon...a short one after a leisurely walk in the park, soakin' up the sunshine. Supposed to rain tomorrow. Meal plan: B-2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, coffee with coconut cream S- trail mix-My trail mix may have to take a hike *haha* when I do my Lenten challenge--the price of pecans and walnuts is ridiculous. May have to change the recipe. L- green smoothie with avocado and banana S-almonds (not as expensive as the other nuts) D- bacon/beef hamburger on oopsie roll, salad Dessert-none Have a good day everybody The weekend is right around the corner. |
