On The Go Snacks
What do you guys do for snacks that you take with you but can't be kept in the fridge? Nuts are hit or miss as far as if the "experts" think they are good for you or not. The only fresh food that I can think of with some longivity are carrots and some skinned fruit. I need some better eatting habits on weekends when I take my son to his dad's house. I am in the car for 4+ hours and it's durring dinner. I need good food for me and him! There is a Trader Joe's along the way so sometimes we stop there and/or Chiplote's which is at least partially organic and locally own "better" meat... but a burrito isn't really Primal (there food is amazing though!).

So, what do you do for snacks?

I make my own jerky, and dry veggies in my dehydrator. Hard boiled eggs are good. There's a ruin of great things from trader joes.. I love the flat out bananas, and manjool dates

Jerky, boiled eggs, mac nuts, veggies with nut butter (like celery and nut butter), etc.

I take things like, cut up red peppers, radishes, apples, carrots, eggs, fresh coconut chunks.
