Good morning!
B: Coffee, may make some eggs later if I'm hungry. I need to make some hard boiled eggs up and keep in the fridge for deviled eggs and egg salad
D: Pork nori "eggrolls" (recipe in the recipe thread, I was playing around with the filling idea yesterday and assembled one and ate it before I could take a picture lol, so will try to refrain from eating them before taking a pic today!)
S: chicken breast baked on a bed of spinach and artichokes with a small amount of organic alfredo sauce, then topped w/sliced tomato and capers and broiled to cook the tomatoes; salad

Incorporating JUDDD with paleo.
Going to Disneyland today.

Eating bacon & avocado this AM.

Packing coconut flakes, almonds, beef jerky for the day.

My goal is to wean off Stevia this month.

I have been caffeine free for over a year now.

Tone: I like your siggy, how detailed it is. Nice

Thank you LOL

Yes I really like the structure and simplicity of it all, and I have been able to stick to the plan really easily. This really works for me, I feel healthy and satisfied

Dottie I love nori and I have some in my cabinet, I am going to check out that recipe!

B: Pork chop
L: Tuna salad
D: Ribs and green beans

I had a really off day yesterday. It was the first day of my cycle and I was out of it. I actually wanted to eat some of the Reeses pieces in my office but I didn't.

I had about 6 squares of 90% dark chocolate, a ton of unsalted pistachios, and a package of peanuts. It could have been worse. I wasn't really hungry and it didn't really fill me up either. I feel okay today, no hung over feeling. I am ready to get back on track and eat real food. Substituting junk for food never works for me and doesn't make me feel better.

I am thinking about upping my magnesium today because of my cycle. I have to do some research to see if I should take a few additional supplements during this time. I could really feel my mood shift as well. I just felt very irratable and "witchy" yesterday which is outside of my character. I could feel myself being short with people and rolling my eyes. I feel better this morning so I plan to treat myself well today and work through this.

Still having lots of cravings. I was very close to eating a handful of reeses pieces but I didn't.

I had more dark chocolate today and picked up some coconut butter from the health food store. I ate a few spoonfuls after lunch and a serving of dark chocolate (70%)

I think the coconut butter should hold me over until this goes away. I think I need to make some really good recipes to get me back on track.

I don't usually get lots of cravings during my cycle. Maybe I need some red meat, I have been eating a lot of fish lately????

Maybe melt the chocolate, coconut and some peanuts together for a power snack?
Yes, I need a lot more red meat protein around that time or else I'm starving!

The chocolate is gone LOL

I purchased a small bar and ate it in the car. Then I had a few spoonfuls of the coconut butter. I think that will hold me over and I am probably going to pick up a few steaks this evening.

I think the iron in them should do me well.

According to most sources the dark chocolate is paleo, I am not sure about the peanuts because they are a legume but it was the only bag in the vending machine so I felt lucky LOL

They weren't even that great, so I am sure I can live without them. I ate tons of pistachios last night too, I have been trying to stay away from nuts for the month because I am taking an anti-fungal supplement since my paleo diet is pretty good for getting rid of candida. I figured I would kill two birds with one stone.

I think all that fish may be catching up with me, it is wierd because I felt good just eating fish but I think I need to maintain a good variety or meats.

Thanks! I like almonds, I have to be careful with them too.

So far the coconut butter is good but not something I could see myself binging on.

Nuts are another story so I limit them.

These cravings associated with my cycle are actually the perfect opportunity for me to create a plan and react in a sensible and healthy way.

So far I am better than I would have been months ago, that makes me feel really good. Though I have eaten things that aren't at the top of my healthy food list, they are still nutritious and I have not over consumed them like I would have in the past. Yay for me!

B: Steak & Eggs
L: Steak & Salad
D: Italian Meatballs with maranara & chocolate paleo brownie

Paleo Brownie recipe (I used Stevia and unsweetened chocolate and I didn't add any nuts on top, I made mine in a mini muffin pan)

Health-Bent | Paleo Fudgy Brownies

I am not sure why she calls the brownies paleo when she uses sugar but whatever LOL

Analyzing my weightloss I see that I lose an average of 6 lbs per month. Some months more some months zero but on average 6 lbs per month. This helps me to look at things a little more realistically.

Even when I am 100% perfect with my menu and workouts it doesn't really speed up my weightloss so I am being moderate and moving back to primal clean eating with a dessert every night (made with pure stevia)

6 pounds per month is awesome!

Higher calorie day for me. I have a nice big ribeye (about 9oz) and a taco salad(no shell) on the menu, not sure what else. I'll cook the steak with ghee and have guacamole with the taco salad. Should get my calories up nicely

6 pounds really is awesome, I have been sabotaging myself for the last two years because I haven't been losing 10lbs per month

The first time I lost a lot of weight it came off pretty quickly. It is almost 12 years later and I have had the excess weight on for some time, so if it takes 18 months or two years that is what it will take. It is also good because I know that I am slowly moving toward healthy permanent habits

I do want to have another baby so I was kinda in a rush because of that (I don't want to be overweight or obese while pregnant), but I think things will work out the way they are supposed to.

B: Eggs, Crab claw, red onion, green onion, & tomato
L: Grilled Chicken wings and celery
D: Beer Marinated Chicken thigh, asparagus, & paleo brownie

I am not sure if the beer is primal or not. I am still not that interested in cheese. I had some parmesan cheese once in the last month or two and it wasn't something that was so tasty that I had to have it again.

My desserts are good, I need to stick to my own rules though, because I have been having 2 servings instead of one on some nights. I want to really sit down and enjoy them so I don't need to go back for another one mindlessly.

I feel really good. I am back into some really cool/stylish clothes that I haven't worn in over a year. Some fit me better than the first time around. I put on a size 12 pair of pants from Express today. They fit pretty well but did not zip or button at the top so I think I have another 10 pounds to go before I will be in a size 12.

That is a really big deal, because then I will be able to shop in most stores (Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Express, Limited, Gap, etc.) without having to venture into the plus sized section.

low cal day for me. I may have a sandwich on light whole wheat bread, but likely I'll chicken out and have a revolution roll or just on romaine leaves instead lol. Better choices no matter what plan, right?
Planned:
B: coffee w/almond milk
D: tilapia cooked with tomatoes and capers; romaine salad w/bragg;s vinegar and a spritz or evoo
S: pork chop suey soup(pork tenderloin, chop suey veg, pacific naturals broth, coconut aminos, seasoning); egg white, light mayo, tomato and lettuce sandwich.
