I think I'm going to go primal today and grill the chicken with some green chilis, onions and top with just a little cheese, then have that over a salad w/some sliced avocado and salsa.

I did Primal last month and I think I actually prefer Paleo.
I love this thread, your menus are so inspiring! I love Paleo because it feels like the perfect balance for me. I am really enjoying all of these raw veggies, it reminds me of when I did a raw food diet minus the headaches, hunger, and weakness LOL |

My ropa vieja came out fantastic!
I used the recipe from health-bent and garnished with fresh cilantro and lime juice ![]() DH ate his with rice, I enjoyed mine without. I was a little worried because my meat wouldn't shred like the photos I have seen online ![]() I think I didn't let it cook long enough but I got around that by just chopping the meat into really fine strips and it taste soooo good! I just had some for breakfast and I will be eating more for lunch B: Ropa Vieja L: Ropa Vieja D: ???? Probably more Ropa Vieja & chocolate nut snack bar I got the recipe for the chocolate nut snack bar from healthy indulgences. I used the recipe as a guide and left out a ton of ingredients that were in her original recipe. I only used almonds, pecans, walnuts, butter, almond butter, stevia, vanilla extract, and dark chocolate. They came out really tasty. I am hoping that if I avoid coconut for a while and reintroduce, it won't cause me any issues. |

I'm going to make the ropa tomorrow or monday, it sounds great!

My day was a lot of "thinking of eating X good food" but then only grabbing something on the go. I don't remember half of what I ate! But I have half of a egg and shrimp salad in my fridge that will taste good tomorrow when I finish putting it together!
