What kind of recipes are in there? It sounds interesting to me but a lot of paleo "desserts" are made with nut flours (too expensive for me where I am) or bananas (I'm allergic!). So just checking if it's all nuts and bananas (lol) it won't be good for me.

Ok, I confess, I haven't made anything out of it yet. I do have a lot of recipes marked to make. With cold weather coming on, we went back to low carb for the sauces and cheese. I make paleo a couple of times a week but than it is low carb the rest of the week.

Yes, the desserts do use almond flour and a couple of them have bananas.

Ok I made a bunch for thanksgiving. Brussel sprout slaw, turkey gravy, banana pudding, lemon bars, apple crisp, cranberry sauce, biscuits, and mashed cauliflower.. Everything was amazing!

I LOVE this book but I think I love Everyday Paleo even more. Although the brussel sprout slaw may very well be my favorite Paleo recipe ever

I was looking at this book today, Is it possible to substitute coconut flour for the almond flour on some recipes? (I am allergic to almonds but not coconut)

I'm going to guess no, coconut flour if allot more dense then almond. Maybe you could sub another nut flour?

I see no reason not to use coconut flour. It has a better lipid profile, too. When I stopped using almond butter and almond flour, I used coconut flour, until I weaned myself off of baking.

All the best to you.
