How are you getting your omega 3's
all the sites, blogs, primal, paleo, etc suggest we get more omega 3's then 6s and 9s..
So I was wondering how is everyone making sure they are getting all of theres? |
Fish oil caps, sardines, salmon I think I'd call my primary sources.
|
fish oil pills, eating fish, and flax
but just as important is limiting omega 6s, primarily by NOT eating vegetable oils or anything made from them, except occasionally |
In my research, I found that krill oil is considered superior to fish oil by many. I take krill oil. It has no fishy aftertaste, too.

I take cod liver oil, fish oil and eat grass fed beef and wild salmon |
I take fish oil and cod liver oil as well, at least a tbsp of each every day. I am trying to work towards the grass fed beef, lol.
|
I do cod liver oil pills, though they are better for vit A and D I think. Eggs from birds who are feed the right foods (ie no corn) also have omega 3 and some egg people will even advertise it. I love sushi so omega 3s are pretty easy for me :) I also eat eggs like they are going out of style.

Oh , I guess I get mine from eggs and some fish cause I don't take any capsules...:dunno:
Maybe my ratio is okay cause I ditched all the vegetable oils and only use lard, coconut oil, Palm Oil, Butter and whatever runs off the meat I cook. |
Fish oil and Chia seed omaga 3 eggs
