What's on your challenge shopping list?
My list of stuff for my challenge:
Lean grass fed ground beef (woot got about 10lbs on sale!); beef top sirloin (lean, not grass fed/organic so I opted for very lean); organic turkey legs; chicken breasts (I like them more than thighs/drumsticks); wild caught salmon; tilapia; shrimp; maybe some smoked salmon or trout if I can find some "clean"); sardines; if I can find nitrate free bacon, I may grab some; home made chicken or pork sausage if I get a craving for it (like say stuffed mushrooms) All sorts of veggies: broccoli; cabbage; kimchi(home made, see recipe sticky); green beans; zucchini; spaghetti squash; cauliflower; carrots; celery; spinach; butternut squash(limited); asparagus(frozen, it's way too expensive fresh now); mushrooms; radishes; well it's a long list, and tons of variety available this time of year Fruits: I found I can not eat kiwis, they give me massive cravings; peaches, grapefruit; apples; apricots; and berries are pretty much all I will allow, and very limited oh avocados and tomatoes! Fats: Ghee(very limited); evoo; coconut oil

I'm a total neophyte, and I'm doing a 30 day totally primal challenge starting Sept 1. I just got back from the co-op, having bypassed my usual bulk grains/legume bins.
I got -pastured pork sausage -pastured turkey sausage -grass fed beef roasts -eggs from pastured chickens -local mushrooms -coconut oil Picked up some raw almonds and other nuts as well. We've still got a lot of garden produce, including green beans, eggplant, bit of yellow squash, tomatoes and zukes. I also plan to get chicken legs for lunches, and make sure I'm stocked up on tomato paste to make primal BBQ sauce. I've got a freezer full of homemade chicken stock (I have been following nourishing traditions, so I've got lots of bone broths). I'm going to make and freeze some chicken/veg soup to have for easy lunches. I also need to make egg muffins and freeze some for quick breakfast/snack. I'm also going to take the plunge and make the mayo from the primal blueprint cookbook. Would love to hear other's lists! |

I think it's just a general "you can have all this, no need to be bored" kind of thing
I know I'm having eggs and sardines, anchovies, etc -not on the list but I'd imagine they're allowed |

Its not a list of EVERYTHING! I think that is the list/chart he uses to demonstrate if you take one from each column you could potentially make 100,000 different meals (not that number exactly but you get the point). Broccoli isn't on it either - don't take away my broccoli!
